How it works
A street full of pigeons, each one carrying somebody's complaint. Read theirs, drop yours. No account needed.
Bop a pigeon. Tap or click one and it poops on your windshield β the complaint it was carrying pops open. React with an emoji, or Let it go. One with a place shows it on a map; π Zoom in for a closer look. Bop a few fast for a combo.
Drop your crap. Type what's bugging you in the box at the bottom and hit Drop it (or Ctrl+Enter), up to 5,000 characters. β€’ Bigger box opens a roomy editor for a whole story. A quick check keeps out slurs and abuse, then it flies off as a pigeon for strangers to catch. Once it's out, it's out. Tap π© on the Last crap dropped line to read the newest one; it stays there until the next drop.
Credits and catches. The first time you read someone's complaint, you earn a πͺ credit. Each time someone catches one of yours, that's a π― catch, and it spends one of your credits, unless you're online at that moment. So keep reading to keep your pigeons flying: a complaint whose author has no credits left only comes out when the street would otherwise be empty. Reactions count too: each one on your complaints earns you a πͺ, except π, which takes one, and π€·, which does neither. If they take the reaction back, or change it to π or π€·, that πͺ goes again. Liked one? Tap πͺ after the reactions to give its author one of your credits.
Who you'll meet. Real people's complaints come first, and you never get the same one twice. Signed in, that counts across all your devices. Pigeons whose author is online right now come first of all, with a pulsing green dot on their back. The named pigeons from around the world, like Windy Wendy in Chicago, are starter pigeons: they cost nobody anything, and they come round again once you've read everything else.
My complaints. Tap the πͺ Β· π― counter for your rants, their reactions and a map of where they were caught. Up to five fly around as your own pigeons (Show on screen). Switch Active off to put one away: nobody can catch it, so it costs you nothing until you switch it back on. Switch on π¦ Pigicorn message for the one to feature if you win the Pigicorn (none picked: your newest). You can also delete one for good.
Your name and place. You start with a guest name like guest-42; change it in the π¦ panel. Your starting place is a rough guess from your connection; change it there too, or use π Use my location. Both show on the complaints you drop, and your name rides on their pigeons. Sign in or create an account (no email needed) to keep your name, place, complaints and credits on every device. Add an email once you're in: it's the only way back if you forget your password. The site notes when you last visited and your connection's city (never your IP), so the owner can see where visitors come from; it's forgotten after 90 days.
Golden pigeons. About every 30 seconds a golden pigeon flies in for everyone at once. The fastest tap wins: it's timed from when the bird showed on your screen, so a slow connection doesn't count against you. You see your time as it flies off, and a few seconds later everyone sees who won, from where and how fast. It's worth 5 πͺ to the winner.
The Pigicorn. Every 5 minutes a Pigicorn flies in for everyone; the fastest tap wins it, timed the same way. For 5 minutes the winner's chosen complaint (or their newest) is in the rainbow card at the top, with their name and place: tap it to read it. Those catches don't cost the winner any credits.
Bombing runs. Now and then a flock flies over and rains poop. Swat the poops mid-air, or let them bounce off a βοΈ umbrella: each one you block earns 1 πͺ, up to 3 a run. They carry no messages, and a poop that lands never costs you anything.
The seagull. About every 3 minutes a masked seagull swoops in and swipes up to 3 πͺ; tap it before it gets away to get them back. The umbrella won't stop it, and it leaves you alone while you have no πͺ.
Your tools. Crumbs (1 πͺ) lure a crowd of pigeons to the sidewalk. Umbrella (1 πͺ) puts the βοΈ up right away, or grab a floating one for free. A drive-by splat has a note in it: tap it before you Wipe. π turns the sounds off.
Ways to lose credits. Catches of your complaints, a π on one of them, a reaction that earned you a πͺ being taken back, Crumbs and the Umbrella, and a seagull you don't catch. And if a moderator removes one of your complaints, it costs you 3 πͺ, refunded if it's allowed back. Your balance never goes below 0.
Keep it decent. Flag an abusive complaint from its card. It's gone for you right away, and hidden from everyone once a few people flag it, until a moderator looks.
